YMUN XLV is incredibly proud to announce that Ambassador Harry K. Thomas Jr. shall be our Keynote Speaker for our Opening Ceremony. Ambassador Thomas has had a distinguished career in public service and in international relations. Representing his nation as the United States Ambassador to Zimbabwe, The Philippines, and Bangladesh, Amb. Thomas also served as the Director General of the United States Foreign Service from 2007-2009. Amb. Thomas began his career in statesmanship in 1984, and has since served as the Executive Secretary of the United States Department of State, and special assistant to United States Secretary of State, Condoleezza Rice.
Amb. Thomas has a lifetime’s worth of knowledge and experience in international relations, and we are thrilled to have him as our Keynote Speaker!
